I am a teacher and writer who is fascinated by the First World War. After serving for several years in the Royal Navy, I read Theology at the University of Oxford and now teach in a UK boarding school alongside writing books exploring the history and experiences of the Great War. Books are available to purchase here or from the publisher, Pen & Sword.
My first book, 'Rugbeians in the Great War', was published by Pen & Sword in 2019. The second, 'The Royal Marines on the Western Front', was published in February 2021, and the third, 'Steady Thunder: the Household Cavalry in the First World War', is due for publication in 2023.
